I don't know what's more demeaning about this journalist's use of my photo in this article: the fact that this picture of me in the hospital shouts "STROKE VICTIM" to them, the fact that I'm not even pregnant in this picture, I'd already given birth, or the fact that in the article they mention that risk factors for pregnancy related strokes are obesity and advanced age.
The Creative Commons licensing feature of Flickr really brings out the truth.
ReplyDeleteWow - and you look ten times better than I did at that moment. Thank god we only had disposable cameras at my postpartum moments. Cause I was sporting cold sores all over my mouth - wonder what the journals would say about that.....
